Description
When everything seems lost, at the end of the battle in Breaking Dawn, and while the three Volturi gather in counsel on the battlefield, at the edge of the snowy woods, Bella says farewell to Renesmee. She has given her daughter agolden locket which contains a tiny photo of herself, Edward and Nessie, and a black backpack with all the documents she will need to flee the country with Jacob. Bella has kept the secret to the very end, so that Aro would not read it off Edward's mind, and Edward discovers the truth at the very last moment.
I wanted to show them as they are in the book: Nessie is softly crying, Edward, struck with horror and pain, can hardly react, while Bella, determined to save her daughter, is giving her the last instructions before they part forever.
"We will always be together in our hearts... I love you more than my own life".

Je l'amais ceci beaucoup. C'est si foncé et pourtant, le coeur de l'image, la famille, c'est le plus claire, avec cette lueur - qui pourrait être comme la force de Bella (sa zone protégeante). Cette Bella est vraiment si différente de la fille que nous avons recontré dans Twilight, hein? Je trouve cette transformation même un peu effrayante, pas naturelle...

Oui, c'est ce que je voulais faire ici, un fond très sombre, une forêt sinistre, et garder la clarté autour de la famille. Je n'avais pas pensé que la clarté pouvait fair epenser au pouvoir de Bella, c'est une bonne idée.
Je suis d'accord avec toi, sa transformation est assez effrayante, j'ai du mal à m'y habituer...

Moi aussi, mais je suis un peu inquiète. Elle va être si différente, j'ai peur qu'ils en fassent une "superwoman" et qu'on n'arrive plus à s'identifier à elle, à se sentir proche d'elle.

J'espère qu'ils en font une Bella, super-forte, belle etc, qui est toujours un peu mal-pied (est-ce le terme??), et qui sais pas controller ses nouveau forces

How sad... little Nessie is so cute, she really looks very sad, close to tears... wow it´s just amazing how you captured her emotions! I´m also very impressed of Edward´s expression, it´s really like it´s described in the book, he´s so shocked that he can´t react... aww ... You did a very good job on this! Even it is really sad I LOVE this work... you captured the scene perfectly!
I like the background, too - but the only thing I can´t warm to, is that the background goes only near the persons, I mean there´s sometimes a small line between. Maybe you intended it, but I also know that it´s difficult to draw this border area. But apart from that I really love your drawing!

Oops, sorry to answer so late, somehow I skipped your nice comment! I used a reference of Mckenzie, the child actress, it's from some TV series or film where you see her crying. I loev how Edwrad turned out, but now I regert it, becase he looks a bit too rigid and frozen. I know that's how he supposed to be i the book, but I realize now that maybe this does not work very well visually. He looks a bit absent. Too late! 
I understand your comment about the background and you're right. I wanted the keep the outlines clear so the characters would stand out from the background. But I wanted the colour of the background to be a bit closer to them than it really is and I failed, so the border zone shows too much. It's a bit complicated to mix the two techniques (watercolours for the characters and acrylics for the background), I need to work on that more!!

I just want people on here to see that I love their work. I love art. I can't draw worth a darn. But I love art. Especially if its something that I recognize. I'll comment more on your pieces. It's a very emotional piece, but to be honest it did not turn out at all as I wanted to. Firts I think I chose the wrong format. too large. Then they are a bit rigid, as if they were posing, but I only realized this when it was finished. Ha ha too late!! But I'm glad you like it and it's lovely to see you back commenting.

Oops..Have you read the book? If you haven't, this is a spoiler... at that particular moment, they think the battle agains the Volturi is lost and that they are all going to be killed, so they decide to send the child away with Jacob in his wolf-form.

It's at the very end, the Volturi are already there and clearly they want to slaughter everyone, they're just looking for excuses to attack. So Bella thinks everything is lost and as she had no illusion about the Volturi, she had prepared everything to make sure Nessie would escape alive.
A few minutes after this the battle begins!

Nessie does not go away at all in fact. The battle is over very quickly because Alice and Jasper return wit the Amazonians who have with them a young hybrid man, half-vampire half-human, just like Nessie, so the Volturi have to give up and go away.

But I had forgotten about it, and then today I found it again, so I decided to give it a go, trying the new background technique. Yes, it's a very emotional scene and lol I think Eddie's gone into shock just like when Bella was pregnant

Thanks !! Yes, there's some details here, and as to the haircolour, actually Edward and Nessie have redder hair in the real drawing, but my scanner made that disappear!
