Description
This is the second shot from the Avatar shoot we had last year. These photos were taken for the online-based Danish cosplay magazine Dkos (www.facebook.com/DKosMagasin ).I had returned to Denmark just the day prior to the shoot and couldn't find my necklace in such a time crunch ;___; but Silas took such a nice photo, so here it is anyhow!

i really like your cosplay, but you shouldnt bother to change your skin color. even if you're too pale for the character, it usually looks better to be natural and darkening your skin can be offensive to a lot of people. >__>

I do know that some people have been hurt by white people darkening their skin. I do understand their feelings, but I only do it to show my adoration and respect for one character despite whatever coloured skin he or she may have. If the character had blue skin, no one would think it weird if I coloured myself blue! It is such a touchy subject, but I really only wish to convey acceptance.

yeah, i understand. i just wanted to make sure you knew some people could get offended by since i've seen a lot of people who get mean comments about it when they didn't even know anyone would be hurt by it.
