A little sketch I did of a unicorn several years ago while sitting in the woods one fall day. God, it was a beautiful day. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for draft horses. I like the idea of unicorns being these huge, powerful creatures instead of the elegant and dainty versions more often depicted (not to say I haven't done that version as well, but I think I prefer this way).Just found the scan in a random folder on my computer. I'll be moving this to scraps soon. I'm dying to get my hands on a scanner so I can upload some of my recent art. Oh well.
Pencil & paper... Nothin' fancy.
*EDIT* I'm sorry, but it seems I have finally fallen victim to someone stealing my art & claiming it as their own. I have had to add the watermark to this particular pic. Sorry to those of you who respect an artist & now have to see it like this.

Amazing stuff! I'm only asking if your on Howrse because im on and i was surfing around it and i found this person who was holding a Contest, You had to design a tattoo for her and i looked at the entries and there was this picture, she was claiming it was hers that she drew it and she put her signature on the bottom right corner. I looked at her page and she's 12! I have nothing against that its just are you that person on Howrse? Heres the link

Whoa!!! Um, no, I've never heard of "Howrse". This picture is most certainly mine. I don't think I've ever run into anyone claiming my art as their own before... What do you know, it IS annoying. I guess I'll have to watermark this.
Sorry for not replying for so long, I am not able to check in very often. Thank you for notifying me, not that I think I'll do anything about it, but it's nice to know people are on the lookout for this kind of aggravating thing.

...more than likely not... my sister could, not me though. I can make a passable horse, people can tell it's a horse, and it might have some distinguishing features...but the art stops there. lol.

Lovely shading and anatomy. The horn is a little thin, I dunno much about unicorns is it supposed to be thin?

Thanks, & yep. I did want the horn smaller & more angular than the traditional long, strait round horn. I don't know, it's just what felt like should be on top of his head

oh yeah it's more natural kind of like a branch, I'm just so used to seeing the unicorns with the big horns. I have that image of the unicorns in Legend running around.
