Description
This is the latest in the series I've been doing of "could have happened" moments from the Star Wars movies. This is my take on a hypothetical Empirical visit to Dagobah, hunting for the rumored location of Yoda. Yoda would be masking his presence as Vader searches with the Force. Sort of echoing that Lord of the Rings scene when Frodo is hiding right beneath the Ring Wraith on the trail.
Β I also wanted to make sure that Yoda is doing something kind in this image- comforting some local animals to contrast all the danger around him.

I have a tattoo of Darth Vader as a Zombie eating Yoda's brains, which symbolizes that if Vader had known Yoda was training his son to betray him, he would have been pissed and surely would have sought him out for revenge. This piece is going straight into the favorites. It also helps I'm a LOTR fan! Just too good, keep it up!

I love this - the tone, the scenery, the symbolism - it all is just perfect.

very nice image indeed! One thing that i noticed and felt abit off. Was the AT-AT which i feel its a little toy compared to the storm troopers, i would like it to have been more vague and less values in it. make it more like the trees further back. I feel it like it would have been the size of the AT-ST. And maybe more red colours that reflected on vaders armor, and the invisible hand.Β

I could easily see yoda hiding right under vaders feet and he'd never feel yoda in the force due to all that dark side energy there

Yes, you have storm troopers scouring the area and a mighty AT-AT looming in the distance, but the pale beside the threat of Darth Vader. I like how you make Vader a sort of dark angel here,Β Death with a fiery sword. And Yoda comforting some frightened animals is a good contrast.

Absolutely astounding. Not just the excellent art and colours, but the concept too.
I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan any more, but an image like this really takes you back to when it was awesome and inspired imagination.
