Never rush art. Time management, though useful, can be a severe antagonist towards the flow of creativity. I can't speak for everyone, but most people on DA are patient and appreciative. There's no need to pressure yourself.
Excellent painting. I could comment on the framing, lighting, and so forth, but what really stands out for me in this one is your color choices. I love it. The entire image has vibrant color but with a seemingly muted sepia tone overlay. It almost gives off a vintage or steampunk atmosphere. Very very cool.
