Description
Crow walked along the beach, tired and with a fuzzy mind. He had been out in the sun too long, getting himself a case of sunstroke along the way. His delirious mind didn't fully register the large blue hill that rose up in front of him until he bumped into it. He blinked. Slowly Crow reached out and touched the hill. It felt warm and soft and fuzzy. Crow looked up and saw a tall thin tree sticking out at the top."Shade," he mumbled.
Not thinking about what he was doing, Crow began to climb. He soon reached the top and snuggled in against the tree, sighing as the shade from it covered him, and soon he fell asleep.
Lapis lay on her stomach, sunbathing. The giantess had the beach all to herself, and she intended to enjoy the peace and quiet. She dozed lightly in the warm sunshine, a smile on her lips. Suddenly Lapis felt something tug at the fur on her hips. In her sleepy state, she was almost tempted to swat at the insect that was annoying her, but a thought stopped her. She was a giant. There were no insects big enough to bother her like that. Lapis opened an eye and glanced back. She saw a young mobian cat that was trying to climb up her body. Despite her annoyance, Lapis did nothing. There was something about him that she liked. He seemed so cute and funny. She waited, wondering what he was going to do once her got to the top, and was soon rewarded when she felt him sit down and wriggle in against her tail. Lapis had to stifle a giggle when she heard him begin to snore. The little guy had fallen asleep on her bum! To tell the truth he really wasn't a bother, so she decided to simply let him sleep. Lapis settled down again to continue sunbathing. She just hoped she didn't roll over and accidently throw him off or worse.
Laips opened her eyes. She was finished sunbathing, and it was time she headed home. Being ever so careful, she glanced back. The cat was still sleeping against her tail. Lapis smiled. Reaching back, she managed to pick him up without waking him. She couldn't leave him here on the beach all alone, so she did the only thing that she could. Lapis cradled the cat gently and carried him home to look after him until he woke up. Once more she glanced at him and smiled. He was cute and Lapis hoped that when he woke, they could talk. Maybe he would even become her new friend...

You say that Lapis had the beach all to herself. I'm thinking it's because normal-sized people wanted to keep their distance from a giant.
It was nice to see, though, that despite her size, she makes an effort to cause no harm or disturbance to smaller beings.

That's always a good quality to have. Perhaps my character could properly meet her sometime.

lapis belongs to Gigantlover20, and I'm sure he would be curious to see how such a meeting may go
