Description
Name: Hisspan VexSpecies: Mobian/Cobra.
Age: 19
Scales: Emerald green. Lime green face, with cream coloured scales on snout and inside of hood. Black markings on forehead and back of hood.
Eyes: Black.
Height: 3'7"
Attire: Dark blue, sleeveless jumpsuit. Black sandals.
Abilities: Venomous. Hisspan can control the volume and toxicity of the vemom she delivers with each bite. She is also able to spit venom up to a distance of seven feet. A trait she inherited from her mother. Being a snake, Hisspan is very agile and flexible. She is trained as a dancer, and has developed her own form of martial arts to compliment this. Hisspan can also see in infra-red, picking out her enemies body heat.
Relationships: Very close friendship with Wolfen Down. Best friend of Rebar Rattle.
History: Hisspan Vex grew up in a small snake village located in a region known as The Valley of Venom. The village was left untouched during Robotniks reign, partly because of the region's name, and partly because of it's remote location. Being a cobra, Hisspan possesses an exotic look, and was trained early on as a dancer of many different styles. Her best friend, Rebar Rattle, a Mobian rattlesnake, would often provide the music for her performances.
The peaceful life of her village soon got boring for Hisspan, and she left to look for adventure. In her travels, she meet up with a Robian named Wolfen Down. The two became good friends, something that continues to this day, and has possibly grown into something more. Hisspan still travels Mobius looking for adventure. Most of the time she travels with Wolfen, but she also has her fair share of adventures with childhood friend Rebar. In fact the two make a good team. Hisspan's graceful martial arts, a side effect of her dancing, compliment Rebar's more straight forward 'sledgehammer' approach.
Personality: Hisspan Vex is very outgoing and friendly. She has the nack of making friends with almost everyone and anyone. In fact, the only person she has not been able to connect with is Mina Mongoose. This however could be due to her deep genetic fear of mongooses. Hisspan has a habit of kissing her friends on each cheek whenever she meets up with them. Something they tend to find a bit daunting due to her venomous bite. A natural reaction to someone who's smile includes two sharp fangs.
As Hisspan often says "If you've a friend in me, you've a friend for life."
Note: Hisspan Vex, Wolfen Down and Rebar Rattle are my fan characters. Mina Mongoose, Robotnik and other references I might have forgotten are property of Archie comics and Sega.

Rosa (My red-bellied Black snake) [link] [link] does. But this is due to a magical artifact given to her by her husband.

Thanks.
I also have rattlesnake characters, a black mamba character, russle's viper, coral snake, green tree python, reticulated pythons, and have designed an anaconda, and a fictional species (An inflator snake) character for a friend.
I also have a few lizard characters too (Iguana, gecko, chameleon, perentie (Goanna))

Did you know Kaa from the Jungle Book was initially a good guy until Disney stepped in with their "Snakes can't be heroes" nonsence

It's true and it's what made me realise that there is a major shortage of snake characters on the good side

That's true. What is it about snakes that people can only see them as evil. I think they're cute. Snakes can be good guys too!!!

what gets is that spider can be just as scary and dangerous in real life, and yet they don't get treated like crap in fiction like snakes do

Sharks are even worse, there's probably 2 shark characters that are good guys and that's it

That's true too.
There are a lot of animals that have a stigma about them snakes, spiders, sharks tend to be lumped as bad guys, while wolves, lions, tigers tend to be noble heroes. Foxes tend to be sneaky/shifty...

I must admit i do love a villain, but at the same time, heroes can be cool. and without heroes, villains just seem boring

vice versa too. I'm just so overwhelmed by all the villain-loving fangirls and their 'heroes are boring, bland and predictable' remarks

I see what you mean. I think to be a great villain, you need a great hero to fight. And to be a great hero, you need a great villain to be your nemesis.
It's like batman and the joker. Without the batman, the joker is just some guy in fancy dress. One makes the other so much better.

Another theme i'm seeing a lot of in cartoons is Female villains being really sexy, having curveous and wearing, tight-fitting and somewhat provocative clothes with dark colours, and female heroes being innocent-looking plain girls with more conservative, loose-fitting, lightly coloured clothes

I like on weatherzone, for our local radar, looks like there's a rain/storm front coming in from the west, and it should start clearing after that

Kind of. it was called dazzleland [link] , and located in the top couple of floors of the Myer center. I can't quite remember, but i have the feeling it closed after some people died by falling over the balconies (I think suicide). The top floors are now closed off.
