Death-magnet boys! XD

I tried drawing Shinichi Death Note style 'cause Gosho Aoyama's style is kinda old in comparison, but Shinichi just doesn't look like Shinichi.

Sometimes, a "dying message" is translated as "death note", which spawned this idea.

I've got four possible plotlines for this crossover/fusion, and the fusion is actually the least likely to work because Shinichi has the wrong personality. He wouldn't even experiment with the Death Note. -_- I don't know what he'd do with it. Lock it in his closet, maybe.
...Unless we throw in some weird twists... like Shinichi being haunted by Light's vengeful ghost or something. *shot*

Because Light is the good-looking Slytherin trying to purge the world and L is the messy-haired misfit trying to stop him and not get killed in the process. Riddle-diary syndrome, y'know. Harry needs to challenge Voldie to a tennis match.

*Ahem.* Anyway, Light's helped his dad on cases before but we don't really know how many or what they were about.

On the other hand, Shinichi's been involved with hundreds of cases and a good majority of them are homicides. Following Holmes, his deductive method requires means, method, and motive. He's repeatedly exposed to the cause and consequence of death. ("In detective work, there's not winning or losing... no superior or inferior... because there is always only one truth")

Also, Shinichi actually cares about people. I think the most Light feels is a sense of obligation towards his family, which ends up spawning his warped sense of duty and justice. (He said something like, "If dad dies, I'll put an end to Kira.")
