Awesome! I like this because the gryphon isn't an easy character to find in such tutorials. Great job on the perspectives too. I also draw them but was wondering, is it also correct to draw them with four lion's paws rather than the talons of the eagle in front? I've seen a lot of different styles and they seem to vary the composition quite a bit. I even found it so in the Chronicals of Narnia where they actually had birds' feathers at the tip of their tails.

As far as I "studied" gryphon arts and hitory stuff, there are old arts featuring gryphons with a whole lion body and no claws, but also without ears. I generally call a mix between a bird-like creature and a canine,feline or another animal (horse etc.) a gryphon, the only thing were I am bit touchy are the ears, I think a gryphon needs ears, that makes these creatures really special
