Anyway, I love how... EVERYTHING here is utterly out of place. The girl doesn't belong in the town, the expression doesn't belong on the girl, the octopus doesn't belong on the girl, and the balloon and lollypop just don't belong.

Her hands remind me of an "Ohmaigawd" valley girl kind of pose, almost showing disgust at what sets atop her head. The colors you used are gorgeous! I love the shading from the octopus' tentacles and his two beady little eyes. The entire concept reminds me of Clive Barker's Abarat where at one point in the story they wear squid on their heads and use them as binoculars.
