I know, I know... I actually wanted to put this in my journal instead, but my normal image hosting service has gone awol...It's *nyu's art meme...as most probably know by now. Thanks dude, you got a fun thing goin'

I'm not really one to jump on the bandwagon like this, and I don't usually go for tags and stuff like that but...You can draw on this one, it looked like so much fun D: I couldn't help myself! And I couldn't resist the chance to publicly poke fun of myself either. So I took a bit of time last night to fill it out, attempting to be cartoony.
just one thing to say: about #6, my sister wasn't really that horrible. She used to be big on art and went to art school for a little bit (though now she's into law and politics) and I always admired her stuff...which was always 1000x better than mine
My earliest memory involving art was her critiquing a drawing I made of my favorite lizard toy oo, and sorry for the mess at the bottom. I admit I was getting a bit tired by then. Anyway, hope at least a few people will get a laugh outta this

1. I find it amazing how many good artists are female, such as yourself.
2. It's interesting that a lot of times these female artists try to draw themselves looking dorky; and although they succeed, their cartoony version still looks very pretty - just like yours.

1. I'm surprised that you are surprised that many good artists are female, but then again I could feel the same way about male artists
2. Things simplified in art (the example here being cartoons) often look nicer and cleaner than they really are, I think, and it might be especially true for cartoon people. Unless, perhaps, it's caricatured particularly strongly... Honestly though, I wasn't trying to draw myself looking dorky or pretty, but appreciate the compliment anyway

about Charlie, no, he's made out of plaster (I think? like I said, he's stolen from my brother so it's just a guess) but he wishes hard to be a real skull every day. Where's a fairy when ya need one?
and I'll send you some socks if you really want them. They have a few holes and smell kinda funky but it would be rude of me not to repay what's owed...
