They're... so happy! D:Haven't submitted anything in a long time...can't be helped I guess. My teachers this semester are total slave drivers

edit: forgot to say...some have already said it, but I already know it looks very miyazaki. I was almost finished with it when my roommate came up behind me and told me it reminded her of spirited away. Then I realized she was right and accidentally hit myself in the face with a roast beef sandwich. It might have been unconscious or something... but I know for sure that the sandwich was delicious.

I don't think it looks like a Miyazaki thing. Big black thing with a mask for a face? I don't get why everyone's saying that... i didn't even think of it until somebody pointed out explicitly why it was similar to Miyazaki. Er. Well I really like it. The noses and ears are particularly nice, as is the hair. Really lovely.

To me, this did not scream Miyazaki, to me, at first. But then the more I looked at it..I went.."Hey, No-face!"
The detail is just breath-taking, really. Down to the earrings. My favorite part is the way you painted the hair. Very nice. Almost seems I want to fly out the window with them.

Yeah really cool stuff going on, very nice movement in the frame, great colors, wonderful characters (who cares if they resemble no face, that's not a bad thing, they still have a unique personality), really nice lines in the hair

I wasn't hit with Myazaki-ness, the intensity of the reds and sharp angles in their faces aren't really hallmarks of Spirited Away and seem very much like a style that is your own. I think you did a great job with this picture, making it your own, even though their bodies do kinda look like No-Face ^^

I like this very much. The contrast of the light colored faces against the rest of the dark body makes it look like they're wearing masks. Not sure if that was intentional or not, but I love the idea of the wearer's true feeling being hidden behind a bitter, mocking smile. It reminds me of Gwynplaine from Victor Hugo's "The Man Who Laughs". I also love the contrast of the dark creatures against such a colorful background.
