No, not the vampire kind of slayer. Sorry Buffy fans.This is digital over pencil. The pencils didn't have any background, but once it was all painted it didn't really look right without one. It took a while to settle on a light cloudscape and border. Hope it looks okay!

I'm working on a similar concept except she's a girl with a lightning blade type.
I love the details in your rendering, possibly because it's done over pencil which is a great method btw.

The picture is gorgeous, a piece of art. In fact, it looks like the Saint George - Patron Saint of Scouting.

thats so obvious, he is a dragoon knight pffff, they have this ability "jump" and "high jump" thats how he can reach so high

See, this is what fantasy art should be about. Despite the violence of the theme, the somewhat muted colors give a very lyrical feeling to this picture. The transition from the white, to the red, to the green gives a wonderful sens of depth. There's almost an arabesque feeling in all the complications of curves, but the diagonal thrust of the lance, the torso and abdomen of the dragon, and the thigh and calf of the knight, give a nice overall unity of movement, nicely counterpoised by the secondary diagonals of the neck and train. Excellent.

Very Good design! Reminds me a little of the story of "St. George" ... The dragon was pretty cool and very good wings.
The warrior armor then perfect. Especially the inner parts and flexible. Their colors are also very beautiful.
Now the question that remains: How does he plan to arrive alive to the ground now that the dragon died in mid-flight? KKKKK

Lizzy, it's amazing to see how your work has progressed! Loving these new pieces and so glad to see you back on DA. I think the cloudscape and border are highly successful...the design of the dragon is delightfully vintage, and the colors and presentation seem to nod at artists like Durer, or Rackham, or Jon Foster. However, the attention to realistic lighting and space makes it totally fresh and uniquely you...hope to see more soon!

I like the way you colored the scales on the dragon, and the design on the armor. Also, the shadow under the slayer looks very good

It definitely looks more than just "okay". It looks great! Wonderful attention to detail, not just in the figures themselves but in their movement too. The image seems to jump right off the screen!
