Description My new favorite (hopefully canon) couple from "Boardwalk Empire."

"Boardwalk Empire" is an HBO drama, set in a parallel universe where all of the famous gangsters were sexy. In Season 4, gangster Nucky Thompson's wife Margaret flees her husband's kingdom of violence and starts a new live in New York...the territory of her husband's old rival, Arnold Rothstein. Margret's vows of leaving the gang life go out the window as soon as she gets a taste of that kosher Hebrew National sausage. But it's not just about romance; they're doing business together, with Margaret helping Arny rig gambling stakes in return for financial help for herself and her kids.

I really hope these two are a team in Season 5.

I think Rothstein did get divorced inΒ  the mid '20s, so maybe they'll work that into the story.

Nice take on the characters. I just wish Season 5 would be around sooner. I am already anxious about seeing what goes on.Β

I was enraged to learn that Season 5 is supposed to be the final season. RIGHT when they're really getting to the mid '20s, the good part! If they do end it there, they had BETTER make a spinoff about the historical gangsters--A.R., Al Capone, Meyer, Lucky, Benny, etc. These guys were all just starting to get really interesting in Season 4!

And of course, I want to see Margaret and Arnold's relationship go places.

So help me, if those things are shoved aside next season to make way for more of Eli Thompson's sulking and his stupid son's poop-executions, I'm gonna appeal to my local Don to have the BWE writers "taken care of."
