Description
A commission forA Point of Ghost Bear Elementals led by OC Wraith Kabrinski (the guy ripping apart the Particle Cannon) swarms a Word of Blake Seraph Invictus.
This image features a custom Jump Elemental. The variation replaces the missile launcher with a jump booster pack, and swaps out the laser for a heavy machine gun.
Also it took me a LOT longer to compose this render than I'd have liked. Turns out it was a lot more challenging than I'd originally thought!

Hmm. I'd probably be trying to bash in the cockpit, myself. Or shoot in through the window.
Still, a fairly nice job.

Thanks!
My original plan was to have the elemental tear the pilot out of his command couch by his coolant suit (or gripping him around the neck) with its armored claw. The cables, wires, and tubes of his helmet and coolant suit pulled taught with the cockpit cowling peeled away like torn paper. Sadly at the time I couldn't figure out just how to do such an effect and make it look good enough. Plus I didn't have any human models to fill the role of the pilot itself. Especially an enhanced Manei Domini from the Word of Blake.
So after a number of iterations I settled on a swarm attack. Especially since my PC had so much trouble handling all of the objects on screen at one time.

It's recently become a canon part of BattleTech/MechWarrior universe that ComStar had taken in the surviving remnants of certain Clan during a Trial of Annihilation. You can read about it in the new book, "Secrets of the Jihad."

Yes, but will it be enough to survive?

Challenging yes - but the reward was worth it! This is an epic picture - full of detail, drama, and panashe! I be proud of that!

Panache? LOL Okay, if you say so!
With each challenge achieved, we better ourselves. Or something like that. Usually the end result is more akin to, "Man, I'm glad that's done..."

They can be incredibly effective if you know how to use them. Take apart leg actuators, disable weapons, rip off armor plats, and even tear a pilot right out of the cockpit!

yeah!
especially the background buildings with their texture and light look great.
i think the mechs texture could use some more dirt or oldness (????).

As opposed to the centuries old war machines that are depicted in the 4th Succession War era, (3028) the Searaph Invictus is a fairly new design. A Word of Blake OmniMech introduced during the Blakist Jihad in the 3070s era as part of the Celestial line. I wanted to keep it pretty clean, but still added a bit of wear and tear. Paint scrapes and the like to make it look used. It has yet had time to get to the grit and grime of years of warfare and abuse.
