My third attempt at the classic video game critter! I've completely remade the Metroid from my previous attempt.(seen here fav.me/d1qx5ky ).
From the gelatinous shell down to giving it a pair of tentacles as a replacement for the mandibles of my original version, this is a brand new build. There are guts visible under the bulbous exterior. It's just that the lighting doesn't show them very well. I even gave it new textures and used a new (for me) render engine.

They're head-munching, life-force draining alien jelly-fish. I'd say repulsive is a good look for them.
