The first thing that I notice about this picture is the very weird expression on Plush Ramen's face. What...what is she doing? Is she winking and smiling at the moon? Her vision appears to be directed upwards, and her pose suggestions she's about to fall on her back; I get it that you're trying to make her look at the helmet, but perhaps a better expression would either have her looking at Night Watch, or having both eyes closed. However, it's a cute idea, and I don't discredit it--I think the thing that threw me off the most was the heart and the wink.
Now, with that first impression out of the way, onto scrutiny!
The shading style you have here is very nice. I'm loving the bold shadows and the wide crosshatching style; it gives it a very cartoony, character-design feel. I took the liberty of checking your picture in grayscale, which is a great way to make sure you've shaded properly, and everything stands out nicely. For some reason I also really like the sharp edges that you gave Plush Ramen, it contrasts nicely with her soft snuggy hoodie.
There's something off about Night Watch himself--I think it's the length of his neck and the comparatively small size of his hindquarters. (Side note: from this angle, even with his armor, we should be able to see a smidgen of his cutie mark. I hate adding them in right at the very end, I forget to put them in all the time. X_X)
I really like the armor and the lighting around it, but in his back area there's a lot of muddled things. His wings, tail, and axe all kind of blend into the background because there are a lot of similar colors in that one area. However, I love the glowing effects on his eyes and the kind of 'What's so funny?' expression on his face, that works very well.
I like this picture! It's well-drawn, the background looks smashing, and it has two excellent looking OCs. I hope to see more from you!
