Here's the finished illustration for chapter one of my fanfic: [link]Decided to use colored pencils... I'm not 100% satisfied with how it turned out, but I'm tired of working on it.
It's the Dragonborn and Delphine confronting the Thalmor assassin that's outside of Windhelm waiting for Malborn.

Awesome depiction of the Thalmor assassin encounter. I loved that part of the game. (Except a dragon took out the assassin before I could reach him... Eh, oh well...)

I dunno how its possible, but i instantly thought 'Hey, reminds me of when i killed stuff in Windhelm' and i hadn't even looked at the castle or description yet..

What brand of colored pencils do you use? I've been meaning to find some that show up better under the scanner and this looks perfect.

I use Prismacolor. I have their large set (around 200 colors). One of the best birthday gifts I ever got... been using it for nearly 10 years.

I fixed it up a bit in photoshop though too. I put the line art on top of it in photoshop, and made the background a bit faded.

The thing Im looking for is how solid and smooth the color is. When I scan my drawings, the coloring is grainy and waxy. It's really annoying

A lower hairline can cover more of the forehead; I think it's correct.

Her eyes are too up her head. Make them lower so she can have a forehead.
