Description
This is a conceptual project I tried a week ago for Magic: The Gathering tokens. The real reason for doing this is to try the new inking and simple shades technique. If you would like to see the pokemon project redone with this style comment it either here or in my journal! As you already know, I do read and try to answer every comment
Anyway, hope you like these, they are from left to right: Zombie, Beast, Spirit, Wolf, Saproling, Homunculus, Myr, Golem, Soldier, Human

No Cat tokens?
The Homunculus token made me think of an older card called Phyrexian Monitor. There is an uncanny and eery similarity.

Nah I just did tokens for cards I had haha. My brother did ask me to do one though. I just saw the link and yeah they are really similar. That's a shame :s I might redo it to make it different haha.

Well you'll get like that once you start playing as long-term as I have, remembering cards and abilities.
Because there is a card I've gotten recently that's called Caged Sun and it's actual a combo of two other older cards: Glorious Anthem and the very useful Mana Flare.

Oh yeah I know what you mean. I only play MTG in a friendly manner, I don't spend hundreds of dollars on cards like some people I know, and I don't check the sets, I am happy with what I get in my booster and am otherwise ignorant but happy haha

I'm rather like you, playing for the casual sport of it rather than competition.
There's one guy who I periodically play with and half the time he's complaining about how his deck cant work in multi-player. I keep trying to tell him to work the deck to be a multi-player one and he adamantly refuses.

Woo, pretty. :3 I think you should do more of these, pokemons or nonpokemons. To be honest I'm curious with what variety of twisted characters you can come up with.
