Description
OKaaay so first off, this is a rather old sketch, the first bits of shading date back to march 2009.. I'd left this drawing as it was because i was satisfied with the shading even though... there was practically none, but didnt like it enough to upload it.Now, a year and ahalf later, feeling in an artsy mood with nothing to draw, find the picture and decide to..experiment.
Basically, i wanted to see how overboard i could go with lighting....I don't know how much of it is/would be realistic, but that wasn't the point of the experiment. And it was fun!
It's very simple i know but i really like it, maybe one day i'll manage to even make a proper background for a picture! Or come back to this one and re-do it properly.. In the meantime, i love her, so ha!
Hope you like her too

Ooh neat! I'd seen the other WIP for that picture in your gallery too, i'm not sure about the contrast between the hair colour and skin colour, but i do like the flowiness of it all

What a wonderful sketch!
Great job on contrasting the artificial and incident lights with the dark environment, your highlighting job is amazing!

Great job! I really like the shading on this, and how it looks like the light is shining against her

The stark contrast between the light and shadow was what caught my eye, actually--what really impresses me is how the light appears to add a "glow" to her skin and hair, which is a pretty realistic touch.

Wow thank you so much for the long comment : D
I'm glad you thought it looked realistic too, i just wanted to get that same feel you get in films or games like tomb raider, an incredibly dusty room, with unknown light sources ^^
