I coloured this picture by drawing it first in one colour, shaded it (I think it was all red), then flattened it, removed the colour saturation and added the colour on top. It was interesting.

That's not true, just different styles.
I struggled quite a bit with the drawing. I couldn't decide on how I wanted to draw the face, what sort of emotion to attempt to portray.
