Description
'Eyo~!Step One:
Colour your scarf~
Step Two:
Split your scarf into sections. For the purposes of this tutorial, I've only split the top part of the scarf and not the two ends.
Make sure to create new layers for each section. (As a rule of thumb, I've split the scarf into sections along the folds.)
Step Two(?):
Create one new layer above each section, and clip them to the sections. Name these clipping layers "Pattern". Including which section the clipping layers are on is optional.
Step Three:
Add your patterns in the clipping layers~!
I've used brushes from my Manga-esque Brush pack .
(Alternatively, you could use the Trippy Screentone-ish Patterns pack, if you made them into brushes.)
Good luck, and have fun~!
Program used: FireAlpaca (though any clipping-support program can be used~)
EDIT:
Make sure you set the brush to "rotate"!

I liked...The OPS font.
I think that's what it is anyway.

Nice! I like that you actually took into account the angles of the scarf and didn't just make the pattern flat. It looks more natural the way you did it.

Thank you for this - useful and very clearly presented. And thank you also for showing a great "use case" for your Manga-esque brushes - I must contritely admit
I didn't give them a close enough look the first time, not being able to imagine an immediate use for them.

I'm glad my first actual tutorial was easy to understand~
Ahaha, I'd actually only just figured out a proper use for them about half an hour ago, and then thought,
"This must be in a tutorial, and now~! "

Haha now I don't feel quite so bad.
And I'm glad you made the tutorial - I struggle with fabric textures, and this really helps!
