Personality: Loa's emotions are muted at best. Nothing seems to bug her, and there is little she cares about. It's almost impossible to get real passion out of her on anything. Most of the time, she seems mildly annoyed, and most everything else seems to be sarcasm, or at least come off that way. She has only two large goals in her life, that of gaining power and taking revenge on the man who killed her father figure. While she may seem a bit more motivated about that, she is unlikely to show it. Loa can not produce hormones, so she feels no sexual desire, and being airomantic she also does not like the idea of romance. Though usually quiet, she tends to open up more when talking to spirits, and does so in public often, which freaks people out.

Abilities: Loa can use all sorts of voodoo rituals to cause magic stuff to happen. She can also communicate with spirits from other worlds, and can get info from them. She seems to have strange powers with life energy, and can read and manipulate it to some extent, such as animating objects with it, or slowly draining it out of people.

Weaknesses: Loa's body is underdeveloped do to the fact she never went through puberty, making her very small and week. Her one track mind can also lead her away from other possible options that can be helpful down the line. She's also life energy sensitive, so crowds and life rich areas can overwhelm her. All her voodoo spells require somatic components, so she must prep them before use.

Bio: Loa was born in the down south town of Zydeco, a land of music, culture, and more underground magic. But the little runt suffered extrema birth complications, leaving her ill and on the verge of death. Her parents were distraught about this. She was breathing, but in a comatose state, unable to move or respond to them. The doctors seemed unable to do anything for the poor girl, and no one could find out what went wrong.
Eventually, out of desperation, they went to the only person they could think of who could help, a man who lived in the marsh named Quana; he was known for having strange powers, and a practitioner in voodoo magic. They presented the baby to the man. He could feel the spirits drawn to the child, could see her potential, so he made them a deal. "I will heal your child, she will grow up free of illness. But under one condition; You will give the child to me to raise as a apprentice, and you must promise not to return here."
The poor rats were left with no options. "If we agree, you must promise to never let harm come to her. To take care of her as if she was your own." Her mother said, concerned for the child. "I can agree to this." The parents handed their baby over to the strange man and left.
Using a old ritual, Quana called upon the loa Simbi, and infused the child with some of his healing energy, part of this spell used the child's own life giving energy, her future ability to have children, as a component. The bolt mark under her left eye was also tattooed on as part of it. Because her new lack of hormone, she was also prevented her from ever fully maturing. Since part of her life now belonged to the Loa, she was given the name Loa.
From there, she was raised in the teachings of voodoo. Learning spells and rituals from a young age. Having a Loa infused into her, she picked up skills very quickly, and could communicate with the spirits of the dead. As she grew her master noticed that some of her personality was sapped away as well, making her cold and calculated. Always feeling small she became set on becoming stronger.
Around the age of 15 though, a catastrophe happened. Her home was set ablaze and bombarded by black Magic, swarms of zombies spewed into it, trying to block her and her master in. They fought hard and made it outside, only to find a crow Bocor. Quana seemed to know him, but there was no time to talk as he began to attack yet again. Quana told Loa to flee, for the man was too strong for her at her current state. Loa obeyed, abandoning her master and fleeing into the swamp. She didn't return for over a week, hiding out in a near by town, but when she came back, there was nothing but ash and burnt remains of some zombies. After that day she vowed to find the crow, and to take him down, but she was smart, she knew she had to get stronger... Since that day it's become her goal in life to collect power no matter the cost.
