LoByteSo In reply to ??? [2015-04-13 18:55:12 +0000 UTC]
Thank you very much for your extensive and fair critic. I really appreciate it!
The idea was born years ago. Indeed, it refers to Windows 95 and the frustration, which we all had that time.
You hit the bullseye regarding the mismatching scales in here and all of your remarks are true.
Because of your criticism, I'm seriously thinking about making some corrections.
Again, thank you very much for spending your time and that you have left their honest opinion here.

I really love this picture and I just keep looking at it!Β It keeps making me smile every time I see it.
I think I was wrong before about there only being three things to consider for scale.Β Another on is the relationship of the auto reboot slider and the size of the keys.Β On my keyboard, keys in the shape of your "Alt" and "Del" keys are about 3/4" long.Β The slider in your pic is a little shorter, perhaps 1/2" long.Β While I have seen some sliders that small on actual equipment, I think if you doubled the size of the slider, it would make the keyboard seem smaller.Β I think my eye sees the slider, decides how large it probably is, and then assumes the keyboard is proportionately larger. Β
If I were as talented as you at rendering, I'd be making more art instead of critiquing it.Β Keep up the amazing work.Β

This should be mass produced for people who have fingers missing.

This is very cool. I like the 3D aspect to it and how realistic it looks.

nice rendering, especially the underlying wooden table or whatever, looks very realistic. And the USB connector, almost like a photo.

I had to take a double take on this because I thought this was a real thing! Really good subtle details like the dust on the USB plug and the shadows in the wood where the marks are. This is actually extremely impressive...keep up the good work.

The only keyboard you'll ever need.I think there's something similar to Ctrl+Alt+Delete on Linux, it's Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, useful for when the X server crashes.

Exactly that's it. But Linux runs much more stable than Windows.
Thank you very much!

True, but it can crash sometimes. I completely destroyed my X session when I was trying to get my graphics drivers installed.

Unfortunately, I've not much knowledge about Linux and his derivatives. But it is sometimes a good idea to take not the newest version of a driver.
