Drone man is a concept similar to Fortress man ( Megaman New Horizons), but more centered on the enemy spawning mechanic. Originally he was going to be Hive man, but he sounded too similar to Hornet man( Megaman 9). Hope you enjoy.

Drone man was developed by the terrorist group known as the wolves/ the pack ( still not sure about the name), when their leader joined the secret society. The development of this robot master was assigned to Dream Chaser, one of the wolves/ pack officers, that use drones as his main weapon. Drone man was built to move into harsh territories during hostile weather conditions, like storms or even sandstorms. He has an obsession with the drones contained in his body, to the point that it becomes really creepy. He never leaves his base in the Death Valley, where he develops new types of drones, following Dream Chaser instructions, but he has also made a few original designs. His base would be his stage where only the toughest members of the pack can survive. In this base there’s a dangerous climate weapon that can cause terrible sandstorms and move them across the country. Megaman needs to get to the facility and stop Drone before it’s to late. During the stage’s open areas you’ll face one of the sandstorms that the weapon generates, making difficult too fully see. Using Windmill man’s weapon ( Megaman New Horizons) or playing as Air man ( Unlockable in Windmill man stage) can help you see more. When fighting Drone man you will face not only his charge attack, but also the three types of drones he can deploy:

1) Kamikaze drones( fellow you and explode when near you)
2) Bomber drones( fly on the other side of the room and go offscreen, drops a bomb when above you)
3) Turret drone( stay still while shooting at you)

After defeating him you’ll get the weapon: drone deploy, that lets you summon randomly one of the three drones I previously mentioned.
