I was dicking around this week...just sampling all the different flavors to see how I like my PhotoShop...Here's a Pic of my delicious OC Logos...he's a good guy...

the skin was the hardest part...i didn't want to cell shade it but when i tried the smudge tool it looked too plastic....i'll definitely be looking for tutorials though...hopefully when i get around to coloring the sargon pic i drew for your Birthday i'll be better...

the best way i've found not to get a plastic look on anything would be to paint with colors other that a dark and light shade of the base color.
ive found its much easier with real media and i struggle with it digitally. em's a fucking pro with it though
