Dit ziet er zo mooi uit. <3 Die levendige kleuren, jouw stijl, hoe de pixelerigheid er toch weer smooth uitziet. Geweldig.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I've finally figured out what my oekakis are missing. You see I'm one of those artists that use a lot gradient and shaindg, but my shading is too soft, I lack hard shading in my pics.

I love how this tutorial is detailed on how to get to the completed work. Seeing the step by step from a page with random lines is really helpful. I like how this can be applied to any kind of drawing you decide to do, and the importance of the movement in the framework of the sketch. Very good job, and very handy to know that even the amazing artists start off with a messy sketch before getting to their fantastic product. It's nice to know that they don't just draw, and there it is! Instead it shows that there is preparation beforehand that most people don't get to see. Thanks for this tutorial!

It is okay to use Oekaki BBS for this though, is it? Ah well, I'll try Paint BBS when I get the time. ^_^

Thanks again!

no, you have to go to an oekaki board, sign up, and click the 'paintbbs' link and it'll open in your browser.

Inuyashacatlover In reply to loish [2007-03-26 20:12:39 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! But... is Oekaki possible on a normal paint program? Like the very bad and horrible program that comes with any new computer?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

loish In reply to Inuyashacatlover [2007-03-26 22:58:05 +0000 UTC]

nah, normal paint has no masking tools, so you can't draw lineart and then keep it.. you'll inevitably end up coloring over it.
