it's sort of killing me that i haven't submitted to dA in a while, so here are some sketches i drew from life recently. just to prove i'm alive!will be moved to scraps soon.

These are fantastic. I like the variety of walks and body shapes you have going with the figures on the right. Even they convey a good deal of personality (well, most of em appear to be average shmucks in no hurry to get somewhere, but still xD).

Very nice! I love the postures of your little people - slouchy, relaxed, confident...
and a minor thing i was curious about: the brown squares are painted last, right? Did you decide to do it to kind of pull the sketches all together? I think it's great how it sort of breaks up the sketches into groups and frames them nicely.

the sketches were all drawn on different pages and just put together in photoshop

i drew it in black felt pen and one of those brush-pen things where you put ink in. heheh. don't know what they're called.
