The falling purple flowers could only mean her competition, her enemy, is near and that shes wants a fight......Well, this started as something to try out the english leather/vinyl materials I have been working on for povray. However, it turned into something else....

This is a really awesome art piece^^ The textures are so real and the coloration are sweet. She somewhat looks like the Major/Motoko in Ghost in the Shell....

As much as I hate to say it, I really don't set out to make art most of the time. In reality I'm just trying out something technical, but I can't stand to make a crappy scene (well... most of the time 
This scene started as a though of "Hmmm... I wonder what a catsuit made out of my leather material would look like?.." Then the scene needed something else, so I dug out my old forest generator code to position the flowers on the ground. I needed more.. Queue the code in my "waking the Pheonix" piece to position flowers floating in the air..... and so on... and so on..... (ok, I'm rambling now.)

Those flowers were the hardest part of the whole scene.... I created some custom code to grow them on the ground and then to "blow" them into the air.

Its a great scene, lovely character and indeed, nice materials! The purple flowers are not exactly iconic for a bloody-exciting battle to me hehe

The flowers aren't iconic to me either, but they are something different.
I guess I was wondering what kind of sick, twisted, assassin would carry around a bunch of purple flowers to sprinkle on targets.... maybe that will be another render someday....
