You rush through the streets, desperately searching for that big blue box. If only you could remember what that street name is!
Mcgregor-macgrant....Then you see it! Macgraver. How on earth could you have forgotten that?!
You look over your shoulder once before hurtling through the small side alley and toward the Tardis. You make it to the door, grabbing the handle and pulling hard. Only, it doesn't budge. Panic now fully setting in, you tug harder and harder. Then you hear a noise from behind you. Horrified, you turn around slowly. If you have to die, you'll meet your fate face to face. The noise becomes louder and louder and you squeeze your eyes shut.
All of a sudden a hand grabs your shoulder, tugging you backwards. You snap your eyes open, only to catch a glimpse of what was chasing you before the Tardis doors block your vision.
"Whew, that was close, wasn't it?" the Doctor grins at you. You turn to him wide-eyed, still slightly in shock. You throw your arms around the Doctor, burying your face in his shoulder.
"Oh, I'm so glad to see you," you mumble against his striped jacket. He hugs you back tightly.
"Me too." Then just like that, he's gone, jumping around the Tardis and pulling levers. "Let's get out of here, eh?!"
You breath a sigh of relief and nod. The sooner you leave this planet and time the happier you'll be.
You sit down, watching the Doctor work and recovering from your scare. It's a few minutes later when the Doctor whips around, peering at you.
"You didn't doubt me, did you?" he asks softly.
"No, never," you answer and, somehow, you know it's true. The Doctor will always be there for you.
