It sounds like it's raining. You peer through squinted lids, wondering why on earth you woke. You can tell it is still way too early in the morning to even think of getting up. You see the sun shining bright through the window and your brain finally registers that it's not actually raining. You lift your head, confused. Then you see the bathroom door slightly ajar and realize the shower is running. Logan. Your face flushes as you imagine him in the shower. You flop your head against your pillow and groan. You wish you could just stop blushing. But he just got to you...all the time. Whether it was when he tossed a grin your way or flexed his biceps when your hands gripped his arms. Everything he did stopped your heart, or made it beat faster. Lost in your thoughts, you are still staring at the bathroom door before you realize the shower has stopped and the door swings open. There stands Logan, wrapped only in a towel slung low on his hips, and his hair still slightly wet. You feel your face turn even brighter, and you squeeze your eyes shut, pretending to be asleep. You sense Logan cross the room and hover over you. You hold your breath. You feel his fingers brush your forehead, sweeping back the hair draped over your face. You shiver involuntarily.
"I know you're awake," You hear him whisper next to your ear. His voice is husky. You refuse to give in. "Doll, your face is bright red."
Busted. You groan again, opening your eyes. "Fine. I'm awake."
Your heart pounds as you meet Logan's eyes, seeing his sexy grin. You remember he's wearing only a towel.
"Good. I think I might need some company in the shower."
This time, you don't mind waking up so early after all.
