You step into the shower, shivering as the hot water hits your back. You love showers, especially early in the morning. You lather your hands with shampoo and run them through your hair. You start to sing as you rinse the soap out.
"I can't stop this feeling, deep inside of me!" you sing, smiling because you know it's one of Peter's favorites. Whenever you want to feel close to him, you sing one of his songs. Right now, he is deep asleep. He isn't much of an early morning person.
Your eyes are still closed as you continue to rinse your hair, when all of a sudden you feel a cold draft. Then as quickly as it came, it's gone, and two strong arms wrap around you from behind.
"Girl, you just don't realize what you do to me!" a voice continues your song. You laugh, running your hands over your face to wipe away the water.
"Peter!" you open your eyes and turn around, facing him. You try not to stare at his bare muscled chest, and instead turn your gaze to his face. Water drips down from his hair, matting it to his forehead as he grins down at you. His green eyes connect with yours and you feel your heart skip a beat. He grips your waist tighter and you start to sing again. "When you hold me, in your arms so tight," you sing softly. His grin starts to fade and he brings his hand up to caress your cheek, gazing at you with an intensity that makes your stomach do flip flops.
"You let me know, everything's alright," he finishes again, his voice a whisper. You both stay quiet for another moment, staring at each other while the water pours down over you. Then, he is kissing you so deeply, you never doubt he treasures you completely. You finish the rest of the shower laughing as you sing the lyrics together, pausing often between lines to kiss.
