Description
You wake up noticing someone else in the room is awake too. It's dark out, but a small lamp light is on next to the bed. You look up, quietly studying Remus's profile. He's intently reading something and you smile a little to yourself. It must be early early in the morning and already he's working.
"Remus?" you whisper.
He jumps a little, glancing at you sheepishly. "Did I wake you?"
You shake your head, smiling. He returns the smile, holding out his arm. You move over in the bed, cuddling into his side.
"What are you reading?" you ask.
"Next week's homework," Remus replies distractedly, already immersed into the book once more.
You roll your eyes, though he can't see. You love your nerd, but seriously.
"Remus," you murmur, "you should sleep."
"I did."
"Hmmm...."
Your knowing hum is enough to tear his attention from the book. He looks at you questioningly. "What?"
"If you had a choice, would you rather kiss me, or read next week's homework?"
"You know the answer, I think," Remus grins.
You grin, closing your eyes and puckering your lips, but nothing comes. Instead, when you open your eyes Remus is reading the book again.
You narrow your eyes at him and he slowly looks over, grinning mischievously.
"Oh, you are totally not getting a kiss now," you grumble, burying your face into his chest.
"I love you," Remus laughs, kissing the top of your head. You smile, looking up so he can give you a sweet kiss on the lips.
