A/N: I don't know why I decided to write this from Roy's point of view and past tense....

Roy Harper knew what would happen that night. He would sit down to watch Netflix- because without a life what was a vigilante supposed to do- and try not to think about how he could be with (y/n). Dig told him to just go for it and normally, Roy would jump right in. But after Thea...it was just hard. Dig also told Roy he'd better be careful because he was becoming a mini Oliver. Roy didn't necessarily see that as a bad thing, but he understood Dig's point. Either way, it didn't change anything. So, Roy entered the "Arrow Cave" to check if they needed him. Otherwise, off he goes to cheesy action movies and popcorn for one. The room seemed to be empty when he got there.
"Hello?" Roy called. Someone jerked up from Felicity's chair. Roy tried not to laugh. (y/n) had fallen asleep at the computer. Again.
Roy stepped over, leaning against the desk. (y/n) peered up at him blearily and Roy tried to calm his racing heart. She was beautiful after just waking up.
"You should get some rest," he advised.
(y/n) shook her head, turning to the computer and typing away. Roy sighed. He hated when she did that. He couldn't reach her through the computer. He looked at her another minute longer, then gave up. He pushed off the counter, heading for the door.
"Okay. Let me know if you need anything."
"Roy?"
He turned around, surprised to see (y/n) swiveled around in her chair, gazing at him imploringly.
"I do need one thing," she said.
"Anything."
"I could..." she hesitated, then continued more softly. "I could use some company."
Roy found it difficult to keep the eagerness out of his expression. "Okay. What do you want to do?" he asked casually. At least, what he hoped was casual.
(y/n) furrowed her brow, as if she hadn't thought that far ahead. "Well, what were you going to do?"
"Netflix and popcorn," Roy shrugged.
(y/n) grinned. "That sounds fun. Can I join you?"
"Uh-yeah," Roy stuttered.
"Great." (y/n) swung around to turn off the computers, then stood up and looked at Roy expectantly. Roy stared at her dumbfounded for a moment.
"Netflix?" (y/n) asked.
"Right...uh. Yeah," Roy shook his head, digging his hands into his pockets and leading the way upstairs.
Somewhere on the stairs Roy experienced sudden courage. He turned around abruptly, causing (y/n) to nearly run smack into him. He held out his hands to steady her; the blush that spread across her cheeks solidified his revolve.
"I like you," Roy stated bluntly. "Like, a lot."
"What?" she seemed bewildered.
Roy didn't bother repeating what he said. He knew she heard.
"Me?" she squeaked.
That wasn't what he expected. "Yeah. Who else would there be?"
She opened and closed her mouth a few times. "Anyone," she finally stuttered.
Roy furrowed his brow, completely confused.
"Anyone?" This was a bad idea. He realized his hands were still gripping (y/n)'s arms, and he dropped them. "Um...just forget it." He turned around to continue up the stairs. He was nearly at the top when he realized (y/n) hadn't followed him. He looked back and she hadn't moved.
"(y/n)?"
"Roy....why would you like me?" She looked up at him.
"Why wouldn't I? You're smart, funny, beautiful," he shrugged. "You're my best friend."
"I am?" she asked hopefully.
Roy smiled. "Yeah, you are."
She returned the smile. "You're mine too. And I like you, a lot."
Roy grinned, jumping down the steps to meet her. He stared her in the eyes, then met his lips with hers. Netflix was off the agenda for that night.
