Description
One my favorite X-men is the mighty Colossus. I saw this X-Men 202 cover where Colossus is twice as big as normal. He was like Hulk size, and I loved it. I think he should always be that big, or he could go bigger if he get angry like the Hulk lol...
Anyway my recipe is just a ML Abomination Base and a future Hulk head, plus lots and lots of sculpting and dremeling.
I liked the hulk head because he's pissed off and backs up my idea that he gets bigger as he gets angrier hehe..
He's going into my growing Heavyweights of Marvel Collection. ----> [link]

Couple of questions...
1. How long does it take you to create one of you customized figures?
2. Do you do custom pieces? Cuz mayhaps I got a job for you.

I'm taking my time now a days in making my customs. Before I rush my customs, I could wip them out in a few hours. This Colossus took a week to make, around 5 hours a day in average.
You mean do I take commissions? I'd love to, but I have my limitations. Since i live in New Zealand, its very hard for me to get certain figures that I will need to make a custom. if a customer would provide the figures that I will need and is prepared to pay the shipping cost etc, then why not

Well I live in Canada and Toy'R Us is just down the block... I just got home from work, and am in desperate need of a nap, but I will write up what I'm looking for, mayhaps even send you a sketch or two... See I'm an artist as well, but I'm an extremely paranoid artist and until my trademarks and copyrights are all secured - which is occurring even now - I can't let folk see whats going on in my head... but an action figure or mayhaps three, well... that'd be the cat's pajamas.

hi there man, yeah I've been busy lately, I haven't had a chance to do some custom..
You want me to make you a custom? your a much better sculptor than me, I'm sure you'd be able to do a Red Hulk easy.

I think you have all the basic stuff you will need. If your going to transform a regular Hulk into a Red Hulk, you'll just need to re-sculpt the hair and maybe the face too.
I use epoxy putty or super sculpey for my sculpting.
Once your happy with the sculpt, then your ready for painting.
The paint will really make the figure stands out. You will need a paint that wont easily flake off, because the joints of a figure rubs when you move them.
I use tamiya acrylic paints for my customs. Some use Valejo Acrylic paints.
Experiment with painting techniques to bring out the detail of the figure.
