Most of my character designs have thigh high boots and I decided I need my own pair for myself, and well, as you said before they are expensive and hard to find, this is too awesome and I'm defiantly to be using this in the future! thanks again!

This is definitely my favorite type of thigh highs, because they aren't baggy. These fit like anime boots!

(p.s for miku,get fabric glue and glue blue/aqua ribbon around the top of your thigh highs while you wear them, same for the little dash's of colour down the legs)

Those look so much easier to make than regular spats, and a lot more comfortable than real thigh high boots.

Oh they are! I own some real thigh highs and they are terrible things! Normally the heel in them is terribly uncomfortable, at least this way not only can you shop around for a shoe that is comfortable but you can also get gels inside for extra support. Its also a lot lighter for travel.

For something like this, I would consider doing it with a pair of character heels. They're the kind of shoes dancers wear on Broadway. I have a couple of pairs and they're the softest, most comfortable shoes I own, even more than my flats and walking shoes. Plus they're only about $30 and take spray paint well.
