how do you make the top look good?
i mean how does it stay up and have the apperance of the top of a shoe

Right, most black stockings will have rubber at the top to keep them up, other colors though generally won't. In those cases sock glue works wonders!

Find other socks, the folding will make an odd bulge and be irritating as hell
