Ahhh, Samara, so powerful, so cold. Β Like that wild horse on the prarie that refuses to be tamed. Willing to die rather then be anyone's. Β Yet there is a moment where your eyes meet, and within a few seconds, you understand one another completely. And then she's gone again.

Samara/Shepard is definitely one of my favorite "romances" of the series. Although it doesn't really go anywhere, it has a flavor of courtly love to it, which is always a treat to see.

I always paired Jack with Grunt. Their both this unstoppable force together. Just plain brawlers! XD Made for some really fun gameplay.

I think it was noble of her to stick to her code instead of an 'ok I'll make an exception' but it still would have been nice to have some romance. After all, if they fail and shit hits the fan, one night of love wouldn't kill her.

I gasped when I first saw this. Then I stared at it silently for 10 minutes or so. This is my second-favorite ME "pairing". ME3 didn't go into this "almost-romance", even though the writers said they would. One of the most disappointing things about ME3 for me.
I like the way the reflective hi-res textures make their armor look like its laminated. Yes, it's pretty, but it also looks functional.
Samara's face is so beautiful and elegant that it deserves a hi-res version. I like that the fish-scale textures on her headcrests look worn, showing that she is as old as she says she is.
Shepard looks very pale. Maybe it's just the in-game lighting that makes his skin look darker, but is he really that pale, or is it the model you've used?

Oh gosh yea. The ME3 romance for Samara was a joke, more so than any of the other ones. She got what, two different lines. Really?

The Shepard textures, well I've tried to fix them as best as I could. Sometimes he ends up looking like he needs to vomit, and sometimes like he's been in a tanning bed too long. So I just keep the pale ones.
