It has been quite a while since I did any drawings, hope my skill didn't regress too much.It's a relatively cheap 2nd generation android (BD-X 7900. Beishan Intelligent Machinery), without its cosmetic layer. Belongs to the same background story as the OSSA combat drone [link] , only the latter is designed for military purposes.
This unit is modified to be deployed in combat. Its important parts such as the power source, neural transmitters and the inertial navigation system are placed inside the chest, protected by a regular balletic vest.

This really speaks depth for me; the bot's eyes convey the vacant, 'soul-less' look that a doll would have, but combined with the rest of the head and body, it's gaping mouth, drooped shoulders (although it seems to have just a lack of), it bears more of a look of shock, or surprise. The mostly white/grey colors, contrasting with the splattered red bloodstain (across a bulletproof vest) only add to the grimness of it all. I'm probably just thinking way too deeply into it, but somehow all the small, subtle parts of this piece express so much.
