Description Master, it is finally proven that you were not alone in this universe, though you were not around for quite some time.
We found an Earth-like planet, master. Her inhabitants are, just as war-like as you were.

The idea of von Neumann probe is valid. However, our hardware is so poorly designed that we do not know how to react to your cousins’ attacking.

Maybe we should just burn this planet into oblivion and move on to our mission, which is quite simple – establish contact with any intelligent creature that we have found, and silent any threat to our own existence.

Master, why are you hiding from us? This mission can never be completed if you keeps hiding.

Oh my master, you are just as witty as always.

We come in peace,
Shoot to kill,
Shoot to kill.

Looks great.

Thanks.

It is terrible that we live in a lonely universe.
It is terribly frightening that we live in a crowded universe.

Well said.
And now for something completely different.

Tried out Bulletstorm, its made by the folks who did Painkiller and that was a fun but hard game.
One boss was 4 stories tall, could not outrun or hide.
A lot of the levels were well done and worth walking through and taking screenshots.

Bulletstorm is fun and fast and the thumbsticks are not that hard to use.
Its fun to pull enemies close and shoot them or kick them in the head or even kick them off of high ledges.
Could also pull them close and get them stuck into spikes.
Will let you know if there is a pc demo.

Thanks.

Painkiller, what a good game! I played the first title more than 5 times... although the last boss fight is a little bit annoying.
Do you remember the level that has ww1 solders? I loves it! Stick everyone on the wall~~~ Great level concept.
Is the boss the one you suppose to shot him(or it?) when you stand on some sort of grave? I think the boss can not hit you when you are bunny hopping.
It is an old game for me, only remember the gun that shots ninja stars, and the gun shots wooden sticks.

what I am thinking about Bulletstorm is that "why should I kill these defenseless enemies?". When I start to ask this kind of questions, the game would never be fun to me. This is the reason that I can't enjoy a lot of games - like God of war, Fear2, Medal of honor 2010, Black ops and all of the japanese RPGs.

I felt interesting to pull enemies near and kick them away several times, but after that, well, I just felt a little bit repeative.
Anyway, my new hope is Crysis2. It is gonna to be great! The multi-player demo is out, gameplay is solid, like COD mw2 a lot, but I don't like multi-player, so I will wait for the pc version, which should be cheaper than the console version, and the graphic is also better.

Painkiller has some of the best level graphics.
The Arabic level is just killer, like that they let you explore the level after all of the enemies are dead.
The military base has the weirdest soundtrack.
The Venice level has the best lighting.
The insane asylum has the strangest enemies, electroshock enemies that charge up and attack.

If I remember correctly the first boss was some giant guy with pointy legs and a big hammer.
The fight happens in a graveyard.
The soundtrack for painkiller is not bad, not sure if it comes with the game or the demo.

There is an addon for painkiller, will install it eventually.

Have not gotten fear2, have played fear 1 and the addon extraction point.
Did try the demo. The enemies in FEAR are pretty good, throwing grenades and flanking.
They are not defenseless.

Bulletstorm was fun even on the Xbox, was able to aim with the thumbsticks and get some of the special kills.
There are so many ways to get skill kills but then I would play a while and then move on. I won't feel its repetitive because I will not play straight to the end.

Playing a videogame for me is like eating a good meal and not like a hot dog eating contest.

Might get that game.

If you wait a bit, can get console games at a discount.
Just don't go too cheap. Wish I got a manual for Darksiders, I bet there is some great artwork in the manual.
They don't discount PC games that much as fast. Have to wait a while for pc games to go cheap.
Yeah, I am also interested in Crysis 2.

Only remember the level has a-bomb, and the level of train station.

It has been a long time not seeing such creative level design.

Oh, I recalled, the last boss is quite easy, not know why. the first boss confused me a lot, the game needs you to shot the boss' leg. But I generally didn't understand english at that time.

If you mean painkiller overdose, I don't recommend it, it no as good as the original one. The level design has less history reference. so it has gone wild.

Fear1 is a bad ass, my personal favorite of all time. But Fear2 is lame. The enemies seemed dumber than the first game, the level graphics are not as stylish, and the light spots are too many, too annoying.
Fear2's AI performance is much worse, I really did not feel much resistance. oh, and the mecha driving level is extremely stupid. All of my friends who love fear1 were disappointed by fear2.

Seems I have a bad game playing habit - I drink pots of coffee, eat junk food, 8hrs none stop while playing new games that I like.

I always check amazon, I think you can get a manual from amazon too. I get some old games for less than 5 bucks.
well, crysis2 pc is 1 buck cheaper than console version on amazon. Maybe I just get the console version.
Do you know the leak version of crysis2 is out on pc? How did they let this happen? This leaked version is much more complete than the HL2 leak version.

The a bomb level was the last level, they changed the mechanic too.
Could not heal by eating souls. All the enemies from the different eras would show up.
It was a great looking level with areas from different war areas and scenes from disasters.
There is an addon to the original Painkiller, hope I can install it.

Think I played fear 1 and extraction point twice, that was a great game.
It was scary, not too many FPSes are scary. The Undying is scary. Doom 3 not scary well some of it is.
I played the demo for 2 a bunch of times but I did not bother buying the game.

No coffee or junk food when I play, I keep food and drinks away from my keyboard.
Unless its something non messy like grapes, I don't eat or drink near my keyboard
because its like asking for trouble. If I spill a drink, its on the other side of the room
and that is ok.

Any game I like and its the first session, I dive in and play for hours.
Did that for the bioshocks, Hellgate london but its not good to do that too often.
I feel funny all day.

Got my hands on a copy of Far Cry for $9 and that was great.
My computer's specs were way above the game requirements so I can play will all the
settings maxed out. Hope I can reinstall on win 7.

Icewind dale installs and runs with no problems and I can use the saved games from previous sessions, Yay!
Icewind dale 2 will probably install too.

Amazing that games get leaked unless its really official.

That level is no doubt brilliant. Or I may say that level made me like video game industry.

Fear 1 and extraction point are great, but the Pegasus project is not as good, do not bother to buy it.
Condemned is rather scary too, this game uses the same engine as Fear1.

I just finished Fable3 with 4 bk double cheese burgers and 4 whoppers. I am going to make some lobsters this weekend.
I think fable 3 is quite good despite this game is just a polished remake of fable 2. The β€œmoral” choices are simple but sarcastic – at least from my point of view. I kinda feel that fable 3 is making fun of environmentalism, and democratic decision making. Well, after all, watching the princess hacking enemies with a huge hammer is mindlessly fun.

You like farcry? I have played that game, it was not very good for me. However, I just got crysis 2, and this game is brilliant – it is not as good as crysis 1 since the platform is less powerful, but the game set a new bar for FPSs on home console.

Got a bunch of pictures from the Hell level.
Painkiller is good like that its real easy to take screenshots, they even let you wander around the level when its cleared. The Arabic level has the best graphics. I hope the addon's levels look good.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fear and extraction point rock, nothing says fun like decapitating an enemy with the sniper rifle.
Nothing says fun like ambushing enemies and hitting the slo mo and using the combat shotgun to tear folks apart. Hearing the enemies scream "He's too fast" or "He wiped out the whole squad" or "Send reinforcements!".

Fear 2 might be fun, it will be cheap now.

I can eat burgers but not at my desk.

4 BK double cheeseburgers, I would be full just with one.
No BK near me, actually no major chain except for Subway and Dunkin Donuts within easy walking distance.

Used to have Dominos but some disgruntled employee started some fires and messed up 2 stores.
One of them was a quick 3 block walk from my house. No more chicken bacon ranch sandwiches.
The best thing was the bread, it was crunchy and tasty. Can get a bacon ranch sandwich from subway but its not the same, the bacon is better but the bread is not.

Can go to McDonald's thats a bit further away.

If I had a car, I would go check out Outback, Fridays, Red Lobster, UNO.
Even Quiznos or Wendy's would be better.

If I was in Manhattan I could try, Thaiish, Thai,Chinese, Italian, French, BBQ, Portuguese.
Went to a great Portuguese restaurant in Newark.
Used to go to a good Indian restaurant but it went out of business. Used to go early when they just put out the buffet stuff and thats the best time before people start fussing with it.

Lobsters are good.

Got Farcry pretty cheap but I hope I can can install and continue from when I left off.
Do not want to start over. Some games do not let you do that.

Started over with Crysis but I have gotten better doing stealth so that won't be too bad.

Was able to reinstall Doom3 but I could not find the savegame in which I got out of hell.
That bites because hell was hard and I do not want to do that again.

I wonder if they have a demo for crysis 2 for the pc, almost no one makes pc demos anymore, they used to do that a lot back then. If I like the demo, I will get the game. Will not be getting Crysis 2 for the Xbox.

About Fear2. I got to warn you. Do Not Have a Very High Expectation! It is not bad, but it is not great either.
The shotgun in Fear is awesome, better than any shotgun in any other game.

These burgers made me understand why some people would cut themselves – I am done with burgers, well at least in the next week.
I quite like Fridays. Thai food is good, too. I can make Chinese food, so no point to hit the restaurant.
You can get a bicycle; it is compact and good for your health. In boston, I can even take my bicycle on the subway train.

You can find some save files on the internet, if you do not mind to continue other players’ game.
Cloaking is the better way to go.
You can instantly beat a level in doom3, if you use the console command – no point to waste time on the levels that you have played.

PC gaming is dying. I do not want to admit it, but it’s true. PCs are going to be replaced by laptops, and PC games are going to be replaced by facebook games.
It is sad. You’d better to do more practices on gamepad.

Bikes are good for your health if you do not get run over.
Heard about one guy who fell off his bike and a bus ran him over and did not stop.

One windy day, I saw a guy fall off his bike in the middle of the street, he was lucky, the cars stopped.

Other than that bikes would be healthy.
I will stick to my feet for now.
Well, soon as I can find the other one.

When you come to NYC, let me know and I can show you some nice places to eat.

Some guy took a picture of a library that is in front of one of my favorite restaurants, so I told him about it.

PC gaming is dying and there are so many alternatives now to play a game.
Since I have a big screen, it does not make sense to play a game on a tiny screen unless I am at a place standing on line.

Saw someone get their iphone snatched on the subway, actually, I saw the thief's hand and like a typical new yorker slid away from the victim. Saw it out of the corner of my eye. No gaming with devices on the subway for me.

Pc gaming is dying and we have to make do with what we get.
Supreme commander 2 was good but I did feel a bit simplified, some of it was good some not so good.
Bioshock2 is fine but I would rather not have to sign in online to play a single player game thats installed on my computer. Starcraft 2 is like that too.

I have a book of passwords and ids and I really would not want to add more stuff to it.

Console stuff is fine but I don't really want to fuss with sticks to aim a gun.

Having Pc desktops replaced by laptops will suck, laptops can't be upgraded easily and they do not have the best hardware. If you do not have air conditioning, then you have to worry about heat issues.

Maybe I should write a target shooting game for the Xbox.
