Oh well, Oreo's cat eared rain coat is pretty cool I guess...

Anyway, this is adorable! But can I just say how you absolutely nailed the picture itself? The rain effect looks beautiful on the rain coats and rain boots and the shading over the clothing is just right. I also love Oreo's cat ear hood and Auburn's Schnee Dust Company rain coat. My guess is Weiss is just one of those "aunts" that spoil their nieces rotten.
Only it doesn't quite work here.
Because Auburn's personality is flatter than Saskatchewan.
Expect 10,000 one-shots about this, because holy crap I want to write about this somehow. Do you think Oreonna would act less like a friend towards Auburn and more like a big sister? Because that's the feeling I'm getting from this. Hang on, let me just write down these amazing ideas you're giving me...

I don't know, I guess from your shots and Auburn's personality, I figured she didn't make a lot of friends. Not that it bothers her, Saskatchewan and all. And since Yang babysat so much, the two would have spent a lot of time together.
So Oreo drags Auburn around everywhere she goes, and eventually she just becomes a staple I her life. So yeah, super friends/best sisters for life.
One of my favorite moments between the two was Oreonna showing Auburn her violin. It was nice to see how much they'd bonded and whether Auburn realized it or not, her Faunus friend meant a lot to her.
I am a little concerned about Auntie Schnees need to plaster her niece with her companies logos... but I figure she went through the same thing growing up, so I can't possibly blame her. Especially if she loves spoiling her. That's cute.

I know I've been neglecting Grimmwalker for a while now, I need to get back to finishing this chapter already. So that'll be next on my agenda methinks.

I adore sibling love more than any kind of love out there. Two people that aren't romantically involved and yet share such a close bond together; a bond powerful enough to match romantic love. I can imagine Oreonna and Auburn would have such a huge sisterly bond with their time spent together that they have each others backs whenever they can, no questions asked.
EVEN IF one of them is convicted of a crime, I could see the other being by her side through it all.
THAT is the power of siblings.
Aunt Schnee is a character I haven't introduced in my shots yet. I've shown Yang, Ruby, Ren and Nora, but Blake and Weiss are nowhere to be found besides a few mentions here and there. I think I might want to change that very soon. Maybe show a bit more of Blake and Yang interacting and AHHHHH! So many ideas! Anyways, my guess is Weiss is doing a double thing here: on one hand, Weiss is spoiling her niece with literally everything possible, but on the other hand, Weiss is probably promoting her company even further by making a line of clothing for children and adults.
It's a win-win situation! Hurray!
Hope to see Grimmwalker again soon, because holy crap, dude! I know it's just the third chapter and stuff, but this comic has drawn me in faster than a super magnet! I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO SKYE!!!
But more interestingly, I want to know why she's telling her story. It is very clear by some choices of words that she's retelling her story to someone. But to who is the real question. Is it someone who stumbled upon her hiding place, or herself recalling her life to stay as sane as possible?
