Oh noes. Not girl turtles again.
Every now and then I get the bug to draw them. They were named after month and seasons when I was a kid but I have made a conscious decision to now name them after flowers.So from left to right: Jasmine, Lily, Poppy and Heather.
Lazily coloured.
I'll never do anything with them, I've grown out of them. But they're fun to draw.

Girl turtles...hmm...I guess I'm one of the few that didn't really get into creating any....but, yours are great. I was thinking Jasmine-Leo, Lily-Don, Poppy-Mike, and Heather-Raph. They actually come across that way to me in his pic.
Just for the record...I never liked Venus...and still don't.

Yep that's the way they were supposed to be personality-wise, though Lily and Heather overlapped a lot ability-wise.

Poppy is so cool! She has nail polish! That's my favorite little detail. It's just so awesome!
Heather looks extremely proud and confident- I'm guessing she's the only fighter of the bunch.
I'm not sure if you're much of an anime fan, but Jasmine reminds me of Matoko from Love Hina and Poppy is TOTALLY a slightly-more-grown-up-and-girly version of Ed from Cowboy Bebop.
As for Lily... I hate to say it, since I'm not really a fan of the show, but at first glance she reminded me of Phoebe from Friends. Must be the hair. ^_^;
Anyway, they're all so pretty!
I think every female fan of the turtles at one time imagined female turtle characters. Mine looked just the guys except their bandannas were tied into big ridiculous bows behind their heads. *pictures this with new-toon super-buff turtle bodies*

Heather and Jasmine fight. (Well they did when I bothered with them having adventures...) The other two.. meh.
Poppy was a 'witch' and Lily their 'healer', they could fight a bit. Not much. I made them long distance fighters Poppy was a better fighter than Lily and she had shuriken, Lily had a bow and only aimed for legs
I've never read Love Hina so don't know the character, and though I know who Ed from Cowboy Bepop is I've never actually read or watched that either!
As for Lily looking like Phoebe

They accessorise a lot, but I haven't really drawn that here. They don't wear clothes though. They have nothing to hidee.

I think I invented a turtle char when I was a kid and couldnt even think of drawing her now.
Really? That's a shame. I like to remember all my childhood OC's and so still draw them on occasion. I'm sentimental like that!

They are quite the interesting bunch. I love the names, they seem to fit nicely. Heather's expression reminds me a lot of Raph.
I hope the bug will bite you again so you can draw more of these gals. ^_^

Call me nutzy...but I like femme turtles. At least the IDEA of them. Having a femme turtle/human/alien hybrid meself I think makes me kinda biased anyway...
Anyhoo, I like their design. I know you've said you've out grown them, but I still hope that you get a bug to doodle them more often!!
I also like how you didn't give them big ol' bewwbs. I know, I know...Sonny has boobies...but unlike a lot of folks, I explain why she has them!! LOL! That's not to say I don't like OC's that do have them with no explanation...
I just like everything to have a reason...ya know?

I wll get the bug on occasion, there's quite a few of them in my gallery and in scraps so no doubt they'll surface once more.
I saw you wrote a lot about Sonny in your journal, but I haven't read it all yet. When I get proper internet access and I'm not sneaking on at work I'll have a better chance to read it all.

Take your time on the Sonny stuff. Basically all it is are "cliff notes" of her history and whatnot. It's long and hard to follow at times (as I've been told....) but I basically put that stuff up there in the hopes to answer some questions that folks may have about Sonny and whatnot...
So yeah!
