Description The title should better be Copic Markers and Colored Pencils Tutorial but it was too long. xD

My very first tutorial everyone.
It shows how I color most of my drawings, if I'm not using watercolor.

This is the picture I did the tutorial with: [link]

I hope this will be helpful and I didn't make too many grammatical mistakes (english, you know... ).
And forgive me that I wrote so much! Will even anyone read all of it? xD

Tell me what you think about it, and ask me if you have any questions.

Background texture from Lost and Taken.

EDIT: Jetzt auch auf deutsch. [link]

I have question xD
Is there any chance that I can have the same "shading" effect on skin and hair using only colour pencils without markers?

Loonaki In reply to Andi-Star [2011-09-20 12:44:30 +0000 UTC]

The hair wouldn't be a problem at all, but I doubt you can get the skin as smooth. You can try though, maybe it works with A LOT of blending. :3

Can I know what kind of paper you use? Because whenever I use my multi liners, they come out feathery, and yours come out really smooth.... :\

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Loonaki In reply to animedreamer4life [2011-08-12 10:23:17 +0000 UTC]

I use really smooth paper that is also a little thicker than normal printer paper (it's probably 120g/m²). But I don't know the name of the brand I use, since it's not written on the packaging.

That is amazing! That's so pretty! It really helped me! Btw where do you get your copic liners n markers and you whiter ink?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Loonaki In reply to xxJaimi122xx [2011-07-05 09:46:04 +0000 UTC]

The markers and liners I buy in local art supply stores, the white ink in a german online shop for drawing supplies. :3 I'd say it's best to google them to find something in your country or near you. The white ink is DELETER white ink 2, by the way.
