Description
Pokémon Name: Iron ShadeType: Dark-Fighting
Pokédex Number: 524
Pokédex entry (Violet): This Pokémon has similarities with a Pokémon found in the Alola region. It can mimic the attacks of other Pokémon, and even send a barrage of it's own mysterious energy at targets.
Pokédex Entry (Scarlet): According to a dubious magazine, this Pokémon is actually a child in a mechanical body made by a scientist after a car related injury.... said magazine isn't a viable source of information.
Violet Book: While I was observing the other Pokémon within Area Zero, I began to catch a glimpse of something strange. Sometimes the shadows of the Pokémon would shift ever so slightly. On top of that, beady eyes would occasionally appear in the shadow itself before disappearing if I looked at it for too long.
Then one day, I saw one of the other futuristic Pokémon rampaging near the area I was stationed in. Said Pokémon would've almost killed me if something in the shadows hadn't broke down the rock that it chucked at me in a rage, before subduing the rampaging beast. But I could only get one good look at it before it vanished back into the darkness.
I talked about this incident to a researcher that coincidentally used to live in Alola, and he told me the myths surrounding a legendary Pokémon called Marshadow, and this got me thinking. Was what I saw a version of it from the distant future like all the others, and more importantly. Why did it protect me?
Artist's Note: I completely rolled this Pokémon and whether it'd be a past form or future form randomly, and I wasn't expecting to get Marshadow. But it's a welcome surprise and I think I did really good.
If I had an actual Pokémon' y name for this one, I'd call it Marholo
I also wasn't expecting to turn it into a mega man reference.
(Update: Added the Violet book sketch, and put a lil story from said book in if this mon was cannon.
