As I said on tumblr, there's not nearly enough queerplatonic Lapidot in this world and that's a sinSorry for being so dead here... I haven't been drawing lately because art blocks and exams and stress and stuff;

Queerplatonic is a term used (mostly by asexual and aromantic people) for relationships that are deeper than friendship but aren't quite in the sexual/romantic territory either~ Those relationships can vary and they aren't exclusively between two people of the same gender! That's why "straightplatonic" doesn't exist. The joke here is that, because some people don't recognize this kind of relationships as real, the asexual community started jokingly calling their platonic partners "zucchini".

why don't y'all just say "my gay best friend" it means the same thing
my only concern is when people think they should use that term in the real world because let's be real no one outside of tumblr is gonna know what it means or accept it
