I really can't wait to see the backend of 2009!This year has been rather trying one for me, with all sorts of crap and stress going on and I really cant wait for its end.

Cheers my friend! For some reason I'm reminded of another fave quote I use
"An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves." (Bill Vaughan I think)
I'm usually quite optimistic, but this year that quote defines me nicely as otherwise!
Hope the new year is a good one for you and you eventually find the speech center of your brain - its probably somewhere back there near useless information about string, famous actors who I can never remember their names but faces are awefully familiar and that thing I had to remember in time but now its too late.

And a realist goes to bed at 11, knowing that no matter what they experienced last year, that this next year will likely bring pretty much the same thing. LMAO. Although, I'm hoping for both of our sakes that isn't the case in 2010.
I hope the new year is also delightful for you, and that you are finally showered with the the praise, fortune, and adulation that you so rightly deserve. And I hope the fortune is in large loose bills, so that it doesn't bonk you silly when it arrives.
I DID actually find my speech center again, thank cake. It was hidden next to pig uncle mutton sock, and mambo dog face to the banana patch. At least it seems to be working fine though. WAAAAA HAAA HAAAAAAAAAAA. Ahem...sorry, I ate too much sugary cereal today.

as they say, it was the worst of times, it was the best of times... and 2009 had both. Seems that the worst of times was front and center a little too much for me... and by little, I mean a lot.
Sorry to hear you have been having an unfair share of "the worst of" ...I can so relate.
Here is hoping that 2010 brings mega-doses of "the best of".
