Done for this months Trinquette challenge.Vampirella, back in the day when Vampires didn't sparkle or get all 'angsty' about teenagers... but wore ridiculous impractical outfits, awesome boots and hung around with bats.

Nice Vampirella, I collect as much artwork as I can on her from way back. LOL, I always thought the skimpy outfits for a fighter were ridiculous, leaves a woman without much protection in a lot of various tender places...however I am sure they are done for teenage boys (of all ages, lol). Of course some like Vampirella probably was more able to protect themselves. With her it may be a distraction, like all of the naked and semi-naked artwork on aircraft was "supposedly" done for distraction. lol, the real distraction of that was America bought it, lol...but I liked the artwork.

I remember Vampirella well. Her magazine, (along with Creepy, Eerie, and Monsters) used to be my favorite reading material growing up. You really don't find those kinds of magazines or comics any more do you? Always awesome to find well done fan art though.

I could stare at this piece for hours! Great work, love the colors, the texture and the way the light falls on the skin and clothing. I really like your detail and sense of humor (i.e. skulls expression)!!!
