Wonder what I've been binge watching?
Big Daredevil fan as a kid - possibly coz my initials are DD too - and the netflix series is fantastic!

Punisher carries the weight of a thousand punishments on his face. Poor guy. Excellent and hilarious work as always!

Great work! Bernthal's a great punisher. He has a distinctly edgy/carved facial structure which you've really done well here.

Not only does he have the perfect kind of face for the Punisher, but he brings a lot of levels to what could easily be such a one dimensional character.

Agreed, the best scenes outside of the action for me were with Bernthal's Punisher. Not only his dramatic monologues, but that scene in the gym with (*Wink wink - no spoilers) were awesome and unexpected (Take that description as you will slowpokes >

Can't tell you how much I love this one. The guy with the hand balloon in the background is the best. The raised eyebrows are sweet too.

Daredevil is blind so why does he wear a mask?Β He can't tell who he is anyway!Β I did see the Daredevil movie at the end of its run with two other people in the audience... boy, did I feel silly in full costume... especially since I was dressed as Darth Vader.Β
The only thing I've binged watched is Breaking Bad, and it ain't easy to see a guy go from high school teacher to drug kingpin in 25 hours and realize you barely took the time to make a sandwich for yourself... but I could be a drug kingpin if I wanted to...

The Darth Vadar costume wasn't a problem... DD was blind and couldn't tell what you were wearing.
I haven't watched Breaking Bad yet, but I've taken note about its ability to hinder my sandwich making regime...

I wondered what became of Shane [Jon Bernthal].. Β Seen him in a couple of small roles, usually wearing a 'red shirt', but nothing that seemed like a role as good as the one he had in 'The Perambulating Deceased'. Perfect choice for The Punisher [while he works flawlessly as John Teach (aka Blackbeard, on Black Sails), Ray Stevenson was pretty not-so-good in his turn as said].
Anyway...
I loved DD when I was a kid.. one of my top ten super heroes. Β Right behind Iron Man and Wolverine, in fact. Β But that movie they did, with what's his Ben Affleck and his future ex-wife really ruined it for me. Β Our internet service isn't good enough to do streaming video, so we don't get stuff like Netflix, or I would give it a try anyway. Β If it were only half as much fun as eyeballing your artwork of it, it would have to be worth a look.

I loved DD as a kid too, and like you, I found the movie to be a disappointing - but I promise you the TV series is not! Grinned like a kid almost all the way through it! And Yes, Jon Bernthal is a great choice for The Punisher - if you can find a way to check it out, I highly recommend it.
