Wolverine is back in the pages of The New X-Men in the form of Old Man Logan (from an alternate future).
He has joined forces with the original X-Men (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Iceman, Beast & Angel),who were brought from the past by Hank McCoy (Beast) to face the present day Scott Summers (he killed Xavier and has gone power mad), and who are now stuck in the present day. Β
They are also joined by X-25 (Wolverine's clone daughter and the new Wolverine), Magic (Colussus's sister), Colossus, Β and Cerebra (in the body of a Sentinel).
