I've felt like this a bit lately….Based on a magazine illustration I did recently… changed it a bit and then painted in a bunch of stuff from my desk. Ignore the wildy inaccurate perspective work… it looked quirky and charming in my original sketch but now its starting to bother me...
Things to know.
• this is about the 7th or 8th time I've painted the plastic skull on my desk… and yes, I have a plastic skull on my desk.
• no, that isn't really me…. I have a goatee and don't dribble as much when I drink.
• painting multiple drinking cans is less fun than you might think.
• dinosaurs on the other hand are awesome!

Either way, despite the perspective issue, the character really stands out among everything else. Still sends a good message with how all artists must feel when they're draggin'.
Your facial expressions, anatomy, and clothing flow/detail is very appealing.
